Tips: Applying Moisturizer

Applying Moisturizer

I like using a daily moisturizer because it avoids my face from looking dry and chapped.

One simple tip is that after applying your moisturizer evenly, leave it on for some time (let's say 15 minutes or more) before applying makeup. Why do you ask? Well, we don't want your powder mixing with your moisturizer. =)

Review: Moisturizer - Lancome Pure Focus

Type: Moisturizer
Brand: LancĂ´me
Product: Matifying Purifying Lotion, Moisturising Lotion, TZone Instant Matifying Gel
Price: ~$24, $27, $27

I'm one of those people who has slightly oily-oily skin, especially in the t-zone (forehead, nose, chin area). I just don't like it when it becomes oh-so-shinyyy!

We got a sample pack from Lancome a couple of years back for their Pure Focus line. We obviously liked it since we kept on buying more. (But not all of the products though, cause it doesn't pay to spend too much money on beauty products).

I would recommend these 3. The first one is the Matifying Purifying Lotion which tightens your pores and the second one is the Moisturizing Lotion for shine control and the third is the
TZone Instant Matifying Gel. All three turn your oily face into a matte finish.

You don't have to use all three all the time. Try them out and figure out what works for you. =)

Review: Moisturizer - Olay Regenerist

Type: Moisturizer
Brand: Olay
Product: Regenerist Perfecting Cream 1.7oz
Price: ~$20
Usage: Once or Twice a day

I give this product 5 stars. Feels good when you put it on and it does not have any harsh perfume smell.

Spread a thin layer evenly on your face and neck. (do not put makeup on top right away, as with any other moisturizer, let your skin absorb the lotion and dry up first before putting on makeup on top of it. It feels eeeky when your powder and moisturizer mix together.)
