You don't necessarily have to have a whole set of brushes for your daily makeup routine. Just one or two would do! (You could actually make do without any! Use your fingers, but make sure they're clean though!)
Here are two brushes I use, the small one is for eyeshadow, it
helps prevent the eyeshadow from going all over the place. And the other one I use is for powder/foundation, but I also like using it for eyeshadow.
It's all up to you. Don't be afraid to experiment!

CHAPSTICK. yes chapstick. You are probably wondering, "what's up with chapstick!?"
Well it keeps your lips moisturized and helps avoid chapping/cracking. You can use this when your not wearing lipstick (when you're at home or whenever you don't feel like using lipstick). So even without lipstick, your lips would look good.
Dry your eyelids before applying any eye makeup.
This will prevent your makeup from running.
Oily eyelids can cause makeup to slide off and smudge. Dab on some loose powder to remove the excess oil. Then apply your liner. Then you can put some more loose powder on top.
* you can substitute eyeshadow for the loose powder.
Get a Makeover everyday!

A little super tip when retouching makeup
Wash your face before retouching!
If you feel that in the middle of the day, your makeup is worn out and your face is sweaty, do not remedy it by adding or retouching your powder/foundation/blush! (Retouching lipstick is okay though)
WASH your face before applying powder again. Think of it this way, you already feel that the makeup has worn off and your face is a little sweaty, chances are dirt has already stuck onto your face.

One simple tip is that after applying your moisturizer evenly, leave it on for some time (let's say 15 minutes or more) before applying makeup. Why do you ask? Well, we don't want your powder mixing with your moisturizer. =)

Pimple Panic!
Pimple, zits, white heads, black heads, milia, all of these can irritate you physically and emotionally. (I can't seem to sit still knowing I have a zit, haha especially one time I had a milia at my tear duct)
So what can we do? If it's already there then you can do what your dermatologist advices you to do.
But here are some tips on how to avoid getting more!
- Do not touch your face if you don't need to! Keep your hands off! Your hands touch a lot of things, so your hands get dirty (even if they don't look dirty) then you touch your face, then your face gets dirty, then pimples show up!
In an equation form: Hands + Work + Holding money + Driving = Dirt + Touching your face = Pimples = AHHHHHHHHHH!
- Go easy on the powder/foundation. Trying to cover pimples up won't help. It usually backfires! So relax, bear with it for a few days to avoid making it worse. Wash your face, put on some anti-pimple ointment or whatever your dermatologist recommends you to use. Do not prick it, go get a facial instead!)
- Pick the right facial wash. Avoid roughly scrubbing your face. Be gentle!!! Wash your face often, especially during the middle of the day when your face gets all sweaty.
- Beware of Bangs! Sometimes your hair can be the cause of pimples, I've noticed that when my hair touches a part of my face, pimples show up in that particular area. (Make sure that whatever touches your face is clean, ex. you always use the phone, pimples might appear on the side where you use the phone)

Well, they are wrong! You can look pretty without spending a fortune!
Right now I can think of 3 simple basic super beauty tips for you!
1. Apply as little makeup as possible and avoid going overboard! You don't need to
wear heavy eyemakeup everyday of your life! Make sure you wear appropriate makeup. If you're going to the office, uber-super heavy eye makeup would look kinda-- out of place.
2. Use clean brushes, sponges etc! Dirt=pimples=bad.
3. Essential items: powder, lipstick, eyeliner/eyeshadow. These are the basics I have in my purse. Bringing a big bag filled with makeup isn't quite practical my beautiful reader.

Let me share a tip that I have tried that will help you highlight your lips and make your lipstick color seem to last longer.
First off, find a lip liner similar to your shade of lipstick. Outline your lips with the pencil. Make sure you do not highlight outside your natural line (you don't want to look funny). Blur the line inwards, so if your lipstick fades away, the liner won't look obvious. After lining your whole lip, put on your lipstick.

No one I bet, because constant tip chipping and breaking equals spending more money. Try and use a sharpener meant for makeup pencils. A regular sharpener usually causes tips to break easily. Trust me I thought that a sharpener is a sharpener, apparently they're not the same. ~
